Farhan Ali Qadri (Urdu:فرحان علی قادری) was born on October 1, 1995 in Jacobabad,
Pakistan.[1]
He gained recognition as a Naat
Khawan of Pakistan and recited naats in
various languages such as Urdu, Sindhi, Saraiki and Punjabi; he even
recited naats in Bengali and English.
Farhan grew up in Jacobabad. He belongs to a Baloch
family; his father is Fazal Muhammad. Farhan Ali started reciting naats
at the age of five; he used to recite naats in his school, Milad. He
achieved widespread recognition for his recital of the nasheed “Noor wala aaia hay”.
He has toured extensively in Pakistan, and performed in other
countries including Kuwait, Kingdom
of Saudi Arabia and Mauritius.
He released several albums,[2]
and performed live on various Pakistani television channels.
Farhan Ali Qadri has won various awards at national, provincial and
district levels.[3]
He generally performs 3-6 live concerts (mehfils)
every week.
Alhaj Khursheed Ahmad or Khurshid Ahmad(Urdu: الحاج خورشید احمد ) was a Naat
Khawan from Pakistan. He started to recite Naat Khawani when he
was only few years old, until his death recited thousands of Naats. He
used to proficiently recite Naats not only in Urdu, but also
in other languages such as Bengali. The melody of his voice and the unique way of
reciting attracted numerous people towards him and soon he become a
famous Naat Khawan in the World.
Early life
Al-Haaj Khursheed Ahmed was born on January 1, 1956 in Rahim Yar Khan. He acquired his basic schooling from Abbasi
Primary School and passed Matriculation
examination from Colony High School.
Then he did Diploma in Commerce from Govt. Commercial Institute. He is
sired by a son named Hassan Bin Kursheed.
Career
In 1973, He shifted to Karachi and joined Radio Pakistan as a typist. The same year he participated in a Naat
competition in Dow Medical College and got First position.
Career in Naat Khawani
Mr. Mehndi Zaheer introduced him to Radio as Naat Khuwan and he started reciting Naats there.
In 1978, PTV held a Naat competition
for the first time and he secured First position there too. At first the
competition held at Sindh level and then at Pakistan level, He stood First
position in both the competitions simultaneously.
The Naat “Yeh Sab Tumhara Karam Hai Aaqa” was liked very much not
only in Pakistan but also all over the World. After reciting this Naat,
Allah bestowed him with so much respect that people started endearing
and loving him. Then the process went on and he recited Naats not only
in Pakistan
but also almost in every Country wherever Muslims live. By the grace of Almighty Allah, he
earned such unique and sublime stature that no one could ever have
achieved in the History of Pakistan. The following are some worthy to be

Awards
He was the first Naat Khwan to receive first position in the very
first Naat Khawani Contest organized on TV.
He was the first Naat Khwan to recite Naats throughout the world USA,
Japan, Switzerland,
Yemen
and France,
etc.
He was honoured with the Nigar Award, a prominent Film Award of
Pakistan, for his outstanding Naat reciting skills.
He was the only Naat Khwan who was given employment due to his Naat
Khwani skills in a leading bank.
He was also awarded Palistan's Highiest Civil Award i.e. Pride of
Performance Award from Government of Pakistan.
Death
Ahmed died in 2007 due to an illness, later revealed to be a brain
hemorrhage. He was admitted in hospital a week prior to his death. He at
first slipped into a coma entailing his death. His funeral was attended
by many renowned Naat Khawans of Pakistan and media personalities. Qari
Waheed Zafar Qasmi, Siddique Ismail, Dr. Amir Liaquat Hussain are a few
to be named.
Beginning in 1983, he has released several albums, despite having
taken no formal na'at classes. Qadri has traveled
to England, Canada, Dubai, Iraq, Iran, Kuwait, India, Hijaz-e-Muqaddas
South Africa, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Malawi, Kenya, Mauritius, Botswana,
Maputo, Zambia, Swaziland, Bangladesh, Syria etc. to recite naats. In Vagra,(Dist-Bharuch,Gujarat)
India, more than 500,000 people attended one of his performances,
creating the record for most number of attandees in a Mehfil-e-Na'at. In
Hyderabad, India, more than 200,000 people
attended one of his performances. In the course of his performances, he
advises young people to acquire adequate knowledge of Islam and to
recite at least one ruku of the Qur'an and its Kanzul
Iman translation.
Muhammad Owais Raza Qadri was born on 8th. July 1970 in Pakistan. He
is Intermediate in academic qualifications. He has performed several
Hajj and Umras, the first Umra being in 1992 while the first Hajj in
1996. Apart from Holy Places, Pakistan is Owais Qadri‘s favourite
country. Among clothes, he likes Shalwar Qameez the best. Owais Qadri‘s
best friends are books. According to him, the memorable moment of his
life has not arrived. His favourite personality is Alahazrat,
Mujaddid-e-Din-o-Millat Imam Shah Ahmed Raza Khan Barelvi. His favourite
dish is Bar B.Q. and favourite colors are black and white.
Owais Raza Qadri was married in 1994 and has four children: two
daughters and two sons named Mohammad Anees Raza and Mohammad Afeef
Raza.
He started reciting naats at the age of 8 only. He was inspired by
AlHaaj Yousuf Ashrafi (late) who was his ideal Naat Khawan also. He did
not take special naat classes but acquired the companionship of good,
pious “Ushaqaan-e-Rasool”. All naats are his favorites. Reciting the
Kalaam of Imam-e-Ahle-sunnat, Alahazrat Shah Ahmed Raza Khan Sahib
Barelvi is most liked by Owais Raza Qadri. His first album was released
in 1983 and after that numerous albums have been released.
Awards
2007 - In recognition of his promotion of naats the
Government of Pakistan recognized him as Best Naat Khawan for 2007.
2008 - The Barkati Foundation ceremonially weighed him in
silver in recognition of his services for the promotion of na'ats.
